Almond Joy Superfood Smoothie

Thick, creamy chocolate smoothie flavored with almond and coconut, with a boost of protein from an unexpected ingredient!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup cottage cheese I used 0%
  • 1 frozen banana sliced
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsps shredded coconut
  • ΒΌ tsp almond extract
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Optional for garnish: Toasted coconut flakes almonds, cacao nibs

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients (except for the garnish) into your blender, and blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
  • Add more milk or ice cube to achieve desire consistency. Top with toasted coconut flakes, almonds and cacao nibs if desired. Enjoy!
