Monte Cristo Waffle Sandwiches combine savory ham and cheese melt, French toast, and waffles – all in one bite!

Ingredients
4tbspraspberry jam
8Eggo homestyle wafflesthawed
2tspsDijon mustard
8slicesSwiss cheese
12ozthin-sliced honey ham
4large eggs
1/2cupmilk
2tbspsunsalted butter
Confectioners' sugar and maple syrupfor serving
Instructions
Spread 1 tablespoon raspberry jam on each of the four waffles. Place Swiss cheese and ham slices on top. Spread 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard on each of the other four waffles and top each sandwich.
Whisk together eggs and milk in shallow dish. In a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then add to pan. Cook on each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown and cheese has melted.
Cut each sandwich into halves and dust confectioners' sugar on top. Serve warm with maple syrup.
