5-Ingredient Chocolate Cheesecake Dip

Last Updated on March 23, 2022 by Karen

5-Ingredient Chocolate Cheesecake Dip is seriously the easiest no-bake dessert you’ll make. It’s a crowd pleaser and the perfect dessert dip for every occasion!

I love cheesecake, but to be honest, it takes a lot of effort to make it from scratch – from grinding up the graham crackers into crumbs, pre-baking the crust, to whipping up the batter, then letting the cake bake, cool, and set.  That’s a lot of work to do to satisfy my cheesecake cravings!

Guess what? Now you have to do all that, because you can get the exact indulgent flavor of chocolate cheesecake, in the form of a dip.

Chocolate Cheesecake Dip is a combination of cream cheese and heavy cream beat until light and fluffy, then sweetened with confectioners’ sugar.

It’s so delicious and decadent, it reminds me of the chocolate chip cannoli filling. Let’s just say it took a lot for me to stop myself from grabbing a spoon and eating it straight out of the bowl.

Not only will you love how this delicious dessert tastes, but you’ll also love that it is a no-bake recipe. Plus, it’s so quick and easy to make it — it only requires five ingredients! It’s the perfect crowd-pleasing dessert to take to any party or potluck. I can’t wait to make it for my next get together!

What ingredients do you need to make this Chocolate Cheesecake Dip?

The best thing about this recipe is that it needs only 5 ingredients! Which you probably have in your fridge and pantry:

  • Cream cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Vanilla extract
  • Confectioners’ sugar
  • Semisweet chocolate

What are some ways to serve this Chocolate Cheesecake Dip?

This cheesecake dip is the perfect addition to a dessert bar or served as a party snack. You can serve it with:

  • Fruit
  • Graham crackers
  • Animal or Nilla crackers
  • Pretzels

What are some variations for this Chocolate Cheesecake Dip?

Here are some ways you can change up this recipe:

  • Use dark or milk chocolate instead of semisweet depending on your preference.
  • Add a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to the cream cheese and heavy cream mixture for more chocolate flavor.
  • Garnish the dip with chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts) on top for extra crunch.

How should the dip be stored?

It can be made up to 2 days ahead. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until ready to use. For a nice and fluffy texture, allow dip to sit at room temperature for up to 15 minutes and give it a stir before serving.

Can I use low-fat cream cheese?

Yes, you can use low-fat cream cheese for a lightened up version. There is no substitute for heavy cream though, since it helps incorporate extra air into the cheesecake mixture to make it nice and fluffy.
