Homemade Peach Barbecue Sauce

Barbecue sauce is a staple and when you top your next grilled dinner with this sweet and tangy homemade peach barbecue sauce you may just never go back to store-bought sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 medium yellow peaches pitted and diced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp barbecue rub
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Puree in batches in a food processor or use an immersion blender to help break down the peaches until desired consistency is reached.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
