Spiced Candied Pecans

These sweet Spiced Candied Pecans take just 15 minutes to make and are perfect for snacking, on salads and desserts, or even as last minute gifts!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tsp water
  • 2 cups pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the confectioners' sugar, salt, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and water. Add the pecans to the sugar mixture and stir until the nuts are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the pecans to the baking sheet and arrange in a single layer.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the pecans are caramelized but not burnt. Remove from heat and transfer the nuts to a large plate or baking sheet and let it cool completely.

Notes

The nuts will become crunchy once it is completely cooled.
