Easy Chimichurri Sauce

This homemade chimichurri sauce is bursting with fresh, zesty flavors -- it will definitely be your family's new favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 shallot diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsps red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add cilantro, parsley, shallots, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, red wine vinegar, and lime juice to a food processor.
  • Pulse until the ingredients are coarsely chopped, then slowly drizzle in olive oil and blend until just combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
