Chocolate Chip Cookies For Two

You can indulge in a small batch of chocolate chip cookies without having a dozen sitting around to tempt you.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps unsalted butter softened
  • 3 tbsps packed brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg yolk, and mix until incorporated.
  • Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and stir until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Form cookie dough into a ball. Flatten slightly and place on baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
  • Remove from oven and let cookie cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
