Chocolate Chip Cookies For Two
You can indulge in a small batch of chocolate chip cookies without having a dozen sitting around to tempt you.

- 2 tbsps unsalted butter softened
- 3 tbsps packed brown sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg yolk, and mix until incorporated.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and stir until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Form cookie dough into a ball. Flatten slightly and place on baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
Remove from oven and let cookie cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
