Sun Dried Tomato and Basil Pesto Tuna Melt

Sun dried tomatoes and basil pesto help create an updated version of an old-time favorite. Get ready to sink your teeth into this one!

Ingredients

  • 1 5 oz can Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore Tuna drained
  • ¼ cup sun dried tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbsps Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp storebought or homemade basil pesto
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread toasted
  • 2 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, sun dried tomatoes, Greek yogurt, basil pesto, and lemon juice and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Divide tuna mixture among bread slices and top each with a slice of provolone. Place on baking sheet and broil until cheese is melted and bubbly.
