Combine sugar, water, and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat, and bring to a boil.
When the sugar has dissolved and the syrup begins to bubble, add the almonds and stir to coat evenly. Continuing stirring until all of the sugar has crystallized on the nuts.
Pour the almonds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Separate almonds using forks.
Allow to cool thoroughly before serving.
