Measure out 18g of coffee grounds. Use a medium roast or espresso-style coffee for the best flavor. Grind your beans to a medium-fine custom grind for an even extraction.
Heat hot water to 200°F (just below boiling). Insert a paper filter in your Aeropress and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste and warm the device.
Add the measured coffee grounds into the Aeropress chamber. Ensure an even distribution for consistent extraction.
Pour hot water over the coffee grounds until it reaches the 4 mark on the Aeropress. Stir gently to saturate the grounds. After 30 seconds, stir again. Attach the plunger and steep for 1 minute.
Slowly press down on the plunger with steady pressure. The coffee will be rich and concentrated, like an espresso-style coffee.
While your coffee is brewing, steam or heat your oat milk (or milk of choice) until it’s hot and frothy. If you have a milk frother, use it to create a creamy microfoam.
Pour the brewed coffee into your favorite cup, then add the steamed oat milk. Stir in brown sugar (optional) for sweetness. If you're feeling fancy, try your hand at latte art for that perfect finishing touch!
Sip and enjoy your Aeropress latte!
