Are you ready for the sweater-wearing, mocha-sipping, pumpkin-eating season? The temperature dropped down to 50F this morning over here, so there’s no denying that Fall is knocking on our door. Although I’m not the biggest fan of Fall, I can’t hide my excitement for the rich and hearty soups and casseroles that will be appearing on our dinner table. I am already stocked up on canned pumpkin, and hopefully I’ll find some time this week to bake up a batch of my favorite pumpkin bread. Perhaps pumpkin whoopie pies too!

The evenings have been cool and crisp these past few days, and nothing feels more cozy than baking something in the oven to warm up the kitchen. Baked pasta casseroles are my favorite, and this one – made with Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce — has just topped the list!

Manwich is a hearty sauce with a sweet and tangy taste, and it comes in three flavors: Original, Bold, and Thick & Chunky. I love the fact that I can simply brown up some ground beef (or turkey if you want to keep it on the light side), stir in a can of the sauce, and have a pot of Sloppy Joe ready in no time. Plus, its kid-stopping power and the fact that each can of Manwich is free of artificial flavors and preservatives make it a great weeknight meal solution for busy families with children.

To round out the meal, I tossed in some cooked pasta, peas, and carrots. Serve it with a side salad or vegetable dish (we served it with roasted cauliflower) and you’re good to go!
