This Pumpkin-Shaped Cheese Ball is so easy to throw together and makes such a fun and tasty appetizer for Halloween and Fall festivities!

It’s October and that means that we can really get creative with all things Halloween!  I’m not sure why, but Halloween crafts are totally my favorite. I love decorating treat bags, pumpkin carving, and whimsical Halloween-theme foods.  I wish it would be acceptable in the blog world to start posting Halloween ideas much earlier so that I could fit in all the ideas that I have every year.

If you love cheese ball, you’ll love this recipe today! Shaped like a pumpkin, this cheese ball doesn’t actually contain any pumpkin, but is so yummy. Who doesn’t love a good cheese spread?!

You start by combining softened cream cheese, red pepper, parsley, ranch mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. When you are cutting the red pepper, make sure you trim around the stem and reserve it for the pumpkin. If you like, you can add some crumbled bacon to the cheese mixture too!

Scoop mixture onto plastic wrap and use wrap to form into a ball. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours.

Once firm, you want to roll the cheese ball into shredded cheddar cheese until well coated. Use the plastic wrap to help the cheese stick.

Next, shape the cheese ball into a pumpkin by flattening slightly on top. Using a kitchen twine, press the lines into the cheese ball. Finally, press the reserved bell pepper stem on top.

And there, you have a perfect Halloween party snack! This pumpkin cheese ball was so much fun to make, yet tasty enough as a party appetizer with a festive touch. It makes for a great snack for Halloween that kids and adults will all enjoy.

This appetizer is perfect for serving with Pringles® Original Snack Stacks. The best thing about these single-serve tubs of Pringles crisps is that you never feel the need to share. Single-size is just that. There’s just enough, just for you.
