With sweater season practically upon us, how about getting together with your friends with sweet treats and hot coffee? Today I thought I’d share a few of my tips and ideas for hosting a self-serve coffee bar party.
It’s the perfect party idea for baby and bridal showers, housewarming parties, movie nights, and game nights. Guests can create their own personal coffee beverages by picking and choosing from an assortment of add-ins, toppings, and pairing their coffees with their favorite sweet treats.
For my party, I set out two types of coffee — a medium roast and a decaf — and keep them nice and warm in carafes until my guests arrived.
Now…to sweeten the coffee! I recommend putting out a few different sweeteners like turbinado sugar, honey, and maple syrup.
How to make coffee even better? I love having lots of options, so I set out flavorings like cinnamon and cocoa powder, and creamers in fun seasonal flavors like peppermint and gingerbread. And think of other toppings your guests might like. Whipped cream, caramel sauce, and chocolate syrup are always popular choices!
