Thinking about your game day menu for the final March Madness games?  Last weekend I was feeling way ahead of the game and decided to try a new game day recipe.  The results were these sweet, sticky bbq glazed smokies! It’s such an easy, delicious appetizer, perfect for serving a large crowd!

These little hot dogs are a classic appetizer and such a staple in many homes. I’ve had so many variations of little smokies including ones with grape jelly, orange marmalade, or honey mustard. They are great for all occasions, even last minute events. Plus, they’re lots of fun to eat as a bite-sized snack.

These bbq glazed smokies are cooked in the Instant Pot with barbecue sauce and kept warm until serving so they would stay hot and yummy. I used to make it in the slow cooker, but love making it in the Instant Pot now because it just takes minutes instead of hours! They’re great to fix for game day parties and potlucks since they travel well too.  MMMmm…what’s not to love?
