Sweet, tart, and refreshing. Strawberry Pink Lemonade is the drink you want to sip on at the beach, the park, or your Fourth of July cookout!
It’s another one of those recipes that make you think “I could totally just go buy this at the store.” Am I right?
Last weekend, James and I ventured out to Long Island for a much-needed lazy day at the beach. After a whole day spent dipping our toes in the sand (and napping…) under the scorching sun, we went to pick up some ice-cold beverages to quench our thirst. I was having a craving for pink lemonade, until I took one look at the food label on the container and put it right back on the shelf.
Seriously, you guys. Have you ever looked at the ingredients list? There are ingredients on the list that I can barely pronounce, when the reality is that you need just three ingredients to make this sweet, tart, and lipsmackingly refreshing drink. Not to mention that the pink tinge makes it so pretty, and you can be rest assured that it’s not from red food coloring…or pink tights water.
If you like some bubbles in your drink, you can substitute water with club soda for the lemonade part. Either way, I’m sure you will find your way to the bottom of the glass quickly.
This is the drink you want to make a big pitcher of for the beach, the park, or your Fourth of July cookout. Be it with a splash of vodka, or limoncello…or without. ;)
